Immunity Probiotic Recipe
Immunity Probiotic Recipe

Let’s be honest—ginger turmeric shots aren’t the most exciting thing to drink. But what if you could get all the health benefits in a refreshing, fizzy probiotic tonic instead? Eating healthy always seemed like a lot of effort, especially when I saw those fancy sustainable health gurus making intricate ginger tonic elixirs and bottling them up in tiny "plastic bottles". I wondered, can’t I just toss some ingredients into a jar and call it good? Turns out, you just need three days! Not only is this simpler, but it also comes with the added benefit of probiotics, creating a deliciously bubbly concoction. So good, you’ll forget all about those awful ginger shots that no one really enjoys.

Our Probiotic Starter Kit has everything you need. Other than the raw ingredients and the water of course 🙂

Instructions

Preparation and Fermentation

  1. Squeeze the juice of the lemon, lime and oranges into a jar along with some lemon skins. Add the brown sugar, the turmeric powder and top it off with 1L water.

  2. Add 1 Probiotic Brew Bag and give it a good shake until most of the sugar has dissolved.

  3. Now remove the lid and cover the jar with the cloth cover.

  4. Keep it in a cool place away from direct sunlight for 4 to 8 hours.

Bottling & Carbonation

  1. After 4 hours, the yeast should be active. Now you can remove the cloth cover and cover the jar with the lid.

  2. Give everything a good shake.

  3. Open the lid and pour the probiotic from the jar into the bottles using a funnel.

  4. Using the Carbonation Calculater, calculate the amount of sugar or honey you need per bottle and fill up your bottles and seal them shut. Again, keep the bottles in a cool place away from direct sunlight for 1 day.

Chill and Enjoy

  1. After a day or two, move the bottles to your fridge to chill. Start your day with this tonic and experience how much better you’ll feel. It’s free from caffeine and unnecessary sugars, offering natural benefits to reduce inflammation, improve digestion, and support your well-being. And with a generous dose of Vitamin C, it’ll keep you energized and feeling great!

  2. Keep them refrigerated and they are good for upto a week. But we bet they’ll be gone way before then.
