Instructions to use the Brew Bag MAX

Lets Get Started. (Day 1)
Add 3 litres of your favourite juice
to your jar.

Remember to sanitise the jar, stirrer, a spoon and the muslin cloth with the No Rinse Sanitiser, before beginning.
Add Sugar or Honey to your jar.
Use the MOB Designer to calculate
exactly how much you need to add.
Open and empty 1 Ultimate Brew Bag into the jar.
Use the stirrer to stir the mixture, making sure everything is dissolved.
Cover the jar with the muslin cloth
and secure it with the rubber band.

Keep the jar in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight for 12 to 24 hours
after which you will see bubbles in the jar.

The Next Day. (Day 2)

Once you see bubbles in your jar, remove the muslin cloth and put the lid back on the jar.
Make sure it is sealed tight.

Sanitise the airlock and lid with the No Rinse Sanitiser.

Now add drinking water to your airlock and attach the airlock through the hole in the lid.
You will see bubbles in your airlock.

Keep your jar in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight for 4-5 days until the
bubbling in the airlock reduces or stops.

After Fermenting for 5 Days. (Day 6)

Now its time to clear our wine.

Remove the airlock from the lid and
close the hole with the cork stopper.

Next, carefully move your jar to your
refrigerator for two days to allow
the yeast to settle down. This is called cold crashing.

Finally Its Bottling Day. (Day 8)

Carefully remove the jar out from
the refrigerator without shaking
and disturbing the cleared part at the top.

Here is your delicious and clear wine (mead or cider)
Sanitise the bottles, bottle caps, funnel, siphon and muslin cloth with the No Rinse Sanitiser.

Now use the siphon, muslin cloth and funnel
to filter out the cleared part of the wine
into the bottles.

Make sure to securely close the bottles
with the bottle caps.

Drinking, Storing and Aging. (Day 8 onwards)

Now that you have bottled your wine, you can go ahead and drink it right away or store and age it.

To enjoy your natural wine (mead or cider),
we recommend to chill it before drinking.

Once opened, store it in the refrigerator
to avoid oxidation.

You can store your bottles in a cool dark place away from sunlight for upto two years during which it will age beautifully.
